Frequently Asked Questions

What is Even Now?
Even Now is a personalized companion that helps people find direction after a major life change. It helps you understand what shifted, recognize what's keeping you stuck, and take a clear next step at your own pace.
What is Even Now not?
Even Now is not therapy, counseling, coaching, or clinical care, and it is not a replacement for professional help. It is also not a journaling app, a course, or a motivational-quote app — it's a companion for everyday forward movement.
Who is Even Now for?
Even Now is for anyone navigating life after an unexpected change — such as job loss, divorce, retirement, a health or ability change, or grief — who wants to regain direction one step at a time. You don't need a plan or the right words to begin.
Who is Whitfield?
Whitfield is your personal guide throughout your journey — a steady, conversational presence that remembers your context and helps you focus on the next mile marker instead of the whole map. Whitfield is not a therapist or coach.
What is the Roadbook?
Your Roadbook is a private record that quietly captures your insights, milestones, and shifting perspective, so the progress you're making becomes visible — especially on the days it's hard to feel.
Is what I share private?
Yes. What you share is treated as private and stays in your control. Your reflections are yours, handled with respect and never used to judge you.
What is a Route?
A Route is a guided, adaptive path built around your specific change — job loss, divorce, grief, retirement, a health change, or starting over. It breaks the road ahead into small, doable steps that adjust as you move, so you're never facing the whole map at once.
How do I get started?
You start right where you are. There's no prep, plan, or right answer required — just a willingness to take one honest step. Even Now builds the route around your specific situation from there.
Is the Even Now app available right now?
Not publicly yet. Even Now is in early access as we prepare for launch. Joining the early access list on the Get the App page is the way in — members of that list are the first invited as the app opens up.
What platforms does Even Now support?
Even Now is a mobile app, currently in early access rather than public release. Platform details and download links will be published here and shared with the early access list as the app becomes available.
How much does Even Now cost? Is there a monthly or yearly plan?
Even Now may offer paid subscription plans. Exact pricing, billing periods, and any trial terms are always shown in the app at the moment of purchase — we don't publish numbers here that could fall out of date. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Is there a free trial?
If a trial is offered, its length and terms are shown clearly at purchase inside the app, before you're charged. We don't publish trial terms on the website so that what you see at purchase is always the accurate, current offer.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Subscriptions are managed and canceled through your app store account, and canceling stops future renewals. If you run into trouble, email support@evennowusa.org and we'll help guide you through it.
How do I restore a purchase?
Purchases are tied to your app store account, so signing in with the same app store account restores your subscription. If a purchase doesn't reappear as expected, contact support@evennowusa.org and we'll help you sort it out.
What information does Even Now store?
Even Now stores your account information (like name and email), the journey and reflection data you choose to record, your subscription status, and basic device and diagnostic data that keeps the app running reliably. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@evennowusa.org. Once deleted, your journey and reflection data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Does Even Now work offline?
Even Now is built as a connected experience — the parts that respond to you personally, like conversations with Whitfield, need an internet connection. If you're somewhere without a connection, the app will pick back up with you when you're online again.
How do I contact support?
Email support@evennowusa.org. A real person reads every message, and we aim to respond within a couple of business days. The Support page lists common topics we can help with.
What should I do in a crisis?
Even Now is not crisis care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services right away, or in the United States call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Reach for real-time human help first — Even Now can be there for the everyday road afterward.
What kinds of life changes does Even Now support?
Even Now supports many of life's hardest turns — job loss, divorce, retirement, changes in ability, major health changes, grief, starting over, and the general sense of losing your direction after things shift.
Will Even Now tell me what to do with my life?
No. Even Now doesn't hand you a script or a verdict. It helps you see where you are, recognize your own patterns, and choose your next step — the direction stays yours.
Is Even Now a quick fix?
No. Even Now is built for steady, real progress rather than instant answers. It moves at your pace, helping small steps add up to genuine momentum over time.
